Moroccan Meat Balls


  • 1 lb. ground lamb
  • 1 tbs curry powder
  • ½ tsp ground cumin
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp pepper
  • 1 egg
  • 4 tbsp breadcrumbs



  1. In a small bowl mix the lamb with spices, egg and breadcrumbs. Mix well.
  2. Wet your hands with some water and form the meatballs. I like to make them roughly an inch thick, but you can always go smaller or bigger if you like.
  3. Heat a splash of oil a pan over medium to medium high heat and add the meatballs.
  4. Fry on all sides until they are browned.
  5. Place in a baking dish cover with foil for 30 min.
  6. Serve with your favorite chutney.
